PRODUCT RECALL.

Dear Air and Water Centre Customers,


The following notice has been issued by the manufacturer
Important recall notice - Potential fire hazard


We have become aware of a problem affecting the DKB Household Switzerland AG TURMIX AX 200 Humidifier. DKB has found out that Turmix AX 200 humidifier, article-N° A51129, production date: 2811, has a technical defect.

Please STOP USING the product immediately, disconnect it from the mains electrical supply and check whether your product is affected.

Possible Defect

In certain circumstances the heating coil fastener can become disconnected from the heating-regulator. This causes overheating and the bottom of the housing to melt. Since the risk of a fire and potential exposure to melted plastic cannot be excluded, DKB has announced the recall.

How to Check the Model / Serial Number

To check whether your product is affected you will need to check the batch code. This can be found on the printed silver Turmix rating label on the underside of the humidifier.

The only batch code affected is: 2811.

All other humidifiers sold by the Air and Water Center are unaffected.


Resolution Method

The Air and Water Centre’s first priority is always the safety and peace of mind of our customers. We are therefore recalling all of the affected TURMIX AX 200 humidifiers that match the model number and serial number as described above. A full refund or exchange will be given to anyone who has purchased one of the affected humidifiers.

Once return instructions have been followed, our courier DPD will arrive the following working day to collect.

In the event that you do not have the original packaging, please use any materials available to you to return the item to us.
