This tower evaporative cooler has a modern and stylish design. It can be used as a cooler, fan, humidifier and ioniser.

The cooler reduces the air temperature by sucking air into the unit and then blowing it back into the room through a moistened filter. To help lower the temperature of the air being expelled an ice box is provided with the cooler. The ice box can be placed in the freezer and when needed placed in the water tank.

This evaporative cooler has a 4 litre water tank and a see through water level indicator makes it easier to see when the unit needs to be refilled. Also when the water drops below a certain level an alarm will sound and a LED light will blink.

An ioniser is incorporated in the evaporative cooler this provides cleaner fresher air to the electrostatic settling of dust and the invigorating effect of breathing ions which are found in abundance in the vicinity of waterfalls and mountain tops.

The cooler can either be used continuously or you can use the 8 hour timer to switch the cooler off after a certain amount of time.

An oscillating feature will help distribute the air in the room. It has 3 fan speeds, low, medium and high and 2 operation modes.

All controls for the evaporative cooler can be controlled by the remote control or by the soft touch LED controls on top of the cooler

The unit has a power consumption rate of 70W and an airflow rate of 600ml/hr

Hints for better cooling - For best performance position the cooler in a location that will create a "flow-through" air effect. The greatest cooling effect will be felt if the unit is operated in a partly opened doorway or window with the "cool" air directed into the room. It is also important to have a door or window partly opened away from the air cooler, in order to create a the "flow through" effect. The recommended humidity maximum level is 60% or less, which allows a noticeable temperature decrease. The evaporative cooler is not an air conditioner it does not use a compressor and refrigerant gas. You should not expect an evaporative cooler to work as effectively as refrigerated air conditioning. However the advantages of the evaporative air cooler over refrigerated air conditioning are:
