The Air and Water Centre recommends the use of this thermohygrometer in any room where humidity and temperature need to be measured.

This thermohygrometer measures the relative air humidity and indoor temperature. A memory feature allows you to check the minimum and maximum temperature and humidity readings across any period of time, simply press the “MAX/MIN” button and it will display the minimum and maximum readings since the thermohygrometer was last reset

The temperature can be displayed in °C and °F which can be easily changed by a flick of switch on the back of the unit. It can be positioned on a flat surface or hung on a wall with the slot on its reverse side.

As human beings we are not that well equipped to assess our surrounding humidity levels – unlike temperature. However, if we are exposed to excessively dry atmospheres for periods of time the consequences can be severe. They include sore throats, coughing, dry skin, tiredness, itchy scalp, increased susceptibility to colds, damage to hair and increases in levels of dust and static electricity.

Experts recommend a humidity level of 40-60%. With this thermo-hygrometer you can measure your atmosphere and be sure whether or not you need a humidifier.

Great indicator, it took a bit of moving about to get a realistic reading i.e away from radiators etc. but now I can see at a glance.

Really easy to use and confirms the humidity rating of the humidifier we bought so seems accurate. Would like to buy a few more for other rooms in the house as it is quite handy/interesting knowing the temperature in different rooms etc. (maybe that's just me...)

If the settings are accurate then this works well. I have nothing to compare it with. The C and F is a good feature and it is good to be able to check the high and low of the day.

Couldn't be simpler to use and provides accurate indication of both room temperature and humidity.

Very efficient and a good, neat guide to the temperature and humidity. It is not immediately apparent that the protective film needs to be removed from the front of the display, and it was only when the readings did not fluctuate that I realised my mistake.

Easy to use and accurate. It took me some time to realise that the film to protect the display had to be removed.

Readings were way out of actual RH value - up to 12%

A really great product, cheap enough to allow you to monitor temperature and relative humidity in a number of locations within the house.
