This is a revolutionary new type of desiccant moisture absorber that will absorb 200% its own weight in moisture. Ideal for combating damp in boats, caravans, sheds, garages, cars and anywhere around the home.
The pack contains 1x1kg Superdry and 5x100g Superdry bags. Superdry is a high-tech, food-grade polymer that turns to gel as it absorbs moisture. Unlike other silica based products that only absorb between 15-25% of their weight, Superdry is made of calcium chloride and can absorb an amazing 200% of its own weight. This makes it much more efficient than any other desiccant moisture absorber on the market today.
In total this pack will absorb 2.25 litres of moisture. The 1kg Pole is suitable for large areas up to 10m³, like a boat cabin, and the 100g bags are suitable for areas up to 1m³, like cupboards and drawers.
Each of the Superdry products in this pack are individually wrapped. Simply remove the wrapping and place the desiccant in the area to be protected and it will last for up to six weeks before it needs replacing.
The outer bag is made of a one-way, spun-bound Tyvek material that will only allow moisture to travel in. The calcium chloride then turns to gel during the absorption process, which guarantees no leaks of the collected moisture.
When the bag weighs 1.5 times its original weight or is visibly bloated, like risen dough, throw it away and replace it with another.
Superdry was created to protect goods being shipped by sea in large 40ft cargo containers. Several kilos of Superdry are used to maintain a low humidity and ensure the contents of the container aren't damaged by moisture in transit. Now for the first time this very effective dehumidifying product is available for domestic use.
Superdry is 100% safe to use as it is a food-grade material - unlike other silica based products which have been linked to as a cause of cancer.

I purchased this product for use in my car, which suffers from very bad internal condensation. In very cold weather it freezes on the inside as well as outside. Since using the product I have had no condensation whatsover.

Got home after 5 week hols and my volvo was dripping inside after gales and driving rain. Everytime I drove,it was a battle to clear the screen and windows, so purchased the above and the effect was immediate, no more screen blowing, dry as dust. Good stuff

My car had been leaking through the sunshine roof. I am unable to use a dehumidifier as there is no power where the car is. I tried the 'Superdry marine and caravan desiccant pack which is doing a really good job but owing to the amount of moisture it is obvious that it needs a larger quantity of the product.

Works very well to stop my car from steaming up inside.

again delighted with the service and delivery which with e-mail notification is very informative and accurate .The packs were chosen to keep the air dry between secondary glazing and while it is perhaps as yet too early to be 100% sure they seem to be working

I have to store spare clothes in my garage and these packs are ideal in preventing damp. The delivery was quick and I am delighted with this excellent product which is very good value.

excellent product and a great service, (ie quick delivery at a good price)

I purchase this product every year and have never had any damp in my caravan over the winter period. Although the price has risen quite considerably since I started purchasing this product, I still consider it to be one of the best buys of the year.

These sachets came in very handy when combatting a persistent mould problem. We used the long sachet under our bed, and the smaller ones in our wardrobe, and they lasted a good 9 months before needing to be replaced. Very good value for money.

Purchased as a gift for our daughter and son-in-law and will probably not be used until the winter.

Too early to comment on the desiccant but the service from AWC was superb.
Review by Caesar Barton, posted on 26th February 2011.
Superb for putting in my soft-top sports car (the 100g sachets have a hook for hanging of the back of the seat). Due to the compact dimensions of my car's cabin moisture can build up with ease and lead to excess fogging, especially in the winter months. I must admit I would prefer another ten 100g bags rather than the 1000 sack.
Review by Katie Hawks, posted on 23rd February 2011.
So far (after a few days), the relative humidity in the workshop-in-the-back-of-my-lorry has been reduced by up to 10%, which is really quite good. That's with only the 1000g sack.
Review by Catherine Ridgeon, posted on 12th February 2011.
This has proved excellent as a way to keep the storage cupboards in my garage dry. The different sizes work well in the smaller cupboards and I hang the largest near the tumble dryer. There is no leakage at all; exactly as promised! I shall continue to use these and replace them whenever necessary. Thoroughly satisfied!

Terrific product and due to the multi packs, it is easy to distribute the dehumidifying effect around the caravan that we own.
Review by Pam Bull, posted on 12th December 2010.
not convinced... I bought the sachets to put each end of my bedroom windowsills. I have recently had the room decorated and the decorator confirmed that the blackened wallpaper at the side of the windows was a result of condensation (not damp coming through from outside). I am disappointed that I can still blot damp from the wall. I expected less condenstaion on the windows themselves also but I still have to mop them.

The webiste was easy to use and the delivery process excellent with texts and emails throughout to keep up informed. The pack itself has begun to work well and we have noticed less damp in the problem areas of our flat. The large pack and smaller sachets help depending on the severity of the problem. I certainly recommend these products.

Fanastic product as always. I have been using Superdry fromm the Air and Water Centre for a while and it really does make a big difference. For full information please read my blog page here: My Blog

Product appears to be fine, however we were not warned in advance that the delivery of the pack may require somene home for a signature. Fortunately the delivery man applied some common sense and left it in a secure place for us as per our instructions.

Fantastic - works incredibly well and fast. Could not believe the difference in my car!
Review by Michael George, posted on 9th November 2010.
The goods exactly as advertised and delivered promptly. The pack is well thought out, with five sachets just the right size for drawers and boxes, and one for larger spaces. Even after a few days I notice a marked decrease condensation in my unheated garage. I am already considering buying a second pack.
Review by Colin Strain, posted on 21st October 2010.
This is the second time I have purchased this. It works really well, and is excellent value. No fuss, no mess, does the job really well. And it arrived in super-quick time. What more can you ask for?
