This great value portable air conditioner has an 8,500Btu (2.5kW) output making it suitable for areas up to 20m².
Thermostatic control allows the unit to be set to maintain a certain temperature and activate or deactivate itself accordingly when this temperature is reached.
Two cooling speeds and two fan speeds will adjust the output of the air conditioner for quieter or maximum operation.
An eight hour timer can be set to automatically turn the unit off in up to eight hours time so that, should you fall asleep, the air conditioner will shut itself down.
As with other portable air conditioners, in order to operate the unit an extraction hose needs to be fed out through a slightly opened door or window. If you are in a large office and not near a window then it is possible to vent the extraction hose above a suspended ceiling. Alternatively, you can buy the 3m exhaust extension hose also available in the multi-buy section below.
During the cooling process this air conditioner will also dehumidify, evaporating the moisture that condenses within it out through the air hose. When used in very hot conditions the water tank may need to be occasionally emptied manually with the water container provided.
The louvres can be manually adjusted to give air movement exactly where you need it and the smooth glide castor make it easy to move around and position.
