The Sputnik weather station is a classic table model with open barometer movements. Although a classic model it has been stylishly finished in chrome with a Plexiglas sphere.
The barometer within the Sputnik weather station will measure the atmospheric pressure in Hekro-pascal (hPa) and inch (in). The observation in the changes of the atmospheric pressure will allow you to forecast the weather.
Also displayed on the Sputnik weather station is the indoor temperature and humidity. The temperature is shown in °C and °F, by controlling your room temperature it can make you feel more comfortable and can also help you save on heating costs.
The hygrometer on the Sputnik weather station will measure the relative humidity of air. Dry air around your house can be bad for your health because if we are exposed to dry air for long amounts of time it can lead to sore throats, coughing, dry skin, tiredness and increased levels of dust and static electricity.
