The Vega weather station is a state of the art, slim line weather station, with its easy to read LCD display (which can be adjusted to suit your needs) it will measure and display all relative weather information making it ideal for any weather enthusiasts.
On the Vega weather station as well as showing up to date weather information it will also display the current time in either 24hour or 12hour format and also the date.
Along with the Vega weather station an outdoor thermo-hygro sensor, wind sensor and rain sensor are all provided. The outdoor thermo-hygro sensor will measure the outdoor temperature, humidity and pressure. The rain sensor will measure the amount of rainfall in either mm or inches.
The wind sensor provided with the Vega weather station will measure the wind chill factor, wind direction and 2 separate wind speed measurements. The wind chill factor is measured in either °C or °F; the wind direction is displayed on a compass scale of 16 divisions, in the middle of the compass the wind speed is shown in the Beaufort scale. The second wind speed measurement can be measured in km/h, mph or m/s. Information from all 3 sensors is sent to the Vega weather station every 4.5 seconds.
Also displayed on the Vega weather station is weather tendency and weather forecast. The weather forecast is shown in 3 forecasting icons from sunny to rainy. To the side of the icon will be an arrow pointing up or down and this will indicate the weather tendency.
Vega weather station will record up 200 sets of weather data which are recorded at 3 hour intervals, these can be viewed by pressing the history button and it will display all information and the time and date it was recorded. Also there is a min and max button on the Vega weather station which will display the min and max of each measurement and at what time and date this occurred.
The Vega weather station can be either be hung on the wall or left free standing. The outdoor thermo-hygro sensor is to be wall mounted and fixings are supplied.
