The weather station is made from stainless steel which means it can be used as either and indoor or an outdoor weather station - making the unit incredibly versatile. The large white face with large numbering and dark dials makes this easy to understand and read.
It displays the current air pressure in millibars, along with an icon-display based on the weather pressure. For instance, when the pressure is low, the dial moves towards the rain picture.
There are two smaller dials on this weather station: one for the humidity and other for the temperature. The temperature is displayed in degrees Celsius in a range form -30°C to 50°C; and the humidity is displayed from 0-100%rh.
Because the design is so clear to read and so easy to understand, we think this is the ideal unit for helping to teach young children about the weather.
