This evaporative cooler has an output of 1,200m³/h of air and a 20 litre water tank.
It is the ideal economic solution for cooling areas up to 50m² when traditional air conditioners are either too expensive or not practical.
The HiCool evaporative cooler has a three speed fan and an air throw of 11m. It will dissipate up to 2 litres of water into an environment per hour. Due to the high output and noise of the fan during operation (85dBa), this unit would not be suitable for a home, office or similar quiet area.
This unit uses adiabatic cooling whereby it evaporates water into the air and the cool temperature of the water is transferred into the atmosphere.
It is fitted with castors for easy mobility and incorporates "E-Flow" technology to ensure the evaporative pads are uniformly wetted for optimum cooling.
A unique Water Shield plastic cap protects the motor and pump from humidity and water splashing for a longer operational life. The HiCool evaporative cooler has a toughened thermoplastic outer casing for durability and a dust filter that captures particles providing cleaner air.
It also has a humidity control so that the water pump can be turned off and the unit used simply as a fan.
The cellulose evaporative pads within the unit have superb wetting properties and are environmentally friendly.
Hints for better cooling - For best performance position the cooler in a location that will create a "flow-through" air effect. The greatest cooling effect will be felt if the unit is operated in a partly opened doorway or window with the "cool" conditioned air directed into the room. It is also important to have a door or window partly opened away from the air cooler, in order to create a the "flow through" effect.
