This split portable air conditioner has a powerful cooling output, making it ideal for large domestic and commercial applications.
A split portable air conditioner is ideal for any room in the home, office, conservatory etc as unlike other portable units there is no need to leave a door or window wide open. The exhaust air outlet will hang outside the window or you can drill a hole directly through an external wall to accommodate the quick coupling, for a permanent fixing.
Compact in size, this unit has one of the highest cooling outputs for a portable air conditioner, at 16,000Btu/hr.
There are three fan speeds, low, medium and high, with oscillating louver for dissipation of cold air. The unit can be controlled via a remote or by the control panel on top of the unit. Foot castors ensure easy manoeuvrability around a room.
With this unit there are no worries about falling asleep and leaving the system running all night as you can set the hours that you want the unit to run for (1-24hrs) and once it reaches this setting the machine will turn off automatically. You can also reverse this process and pre-set the time for the machine to turn itself on- for cooling just when you need it.
This single machine incorporates two powerful applications in one, providing a rapid cooling capacity of 4.074KW in the Summer and in the Winter, when used as a dehumidifier, it will remove 53litres of water a day .
Equipped with automatic drainage, the water will be discharged from the hole placed at the bottom of the outdoor unit- Do not locate the unit above a doorway. You can also connect a water tube to the discharge hole to channel the water to a proper place.
Supplied with this unit are active carbon filters used for eliminating harmful fumes like ozone and formaldehyde and odours from tobacco smoke, animals and cooking, an outdoor mounting bracket, spanners, screws and washers.
This unit uses a power consumption of 1700W to operate with an airflow rate of 760m3/hr.
Due to health & safety regulations, our couriers are unable to carry this item up stairs so when a lift is not available it must be delivered to the ground floor of premises.
