The Airfree P125 Platinum has all the attributes of the popular P80, despite being exactly the same size, it has a greater air purifying capacity enabling it to be suitable for areas up to 125m3.
Unlike other air purifiers, which just trap pollutants, the Airfree incinerates them with a 250°C ceramic heating core. The Airfree’s technology is much simpler and more effective than anything else on the air purifier market today.
Air cleaners that incorporate HEPA filters only catch the contamination in the air, which is then removed when the filter is changed. However, this pollution can work itself loose and return to the air, either during the product’s natural use or during the filter changing process.
The Airfree doesn't use filters to trap pollutants. It draws air into the unit at its base, which then travels through its patented incineration chamber where up to 99.99% of micro-organisms are totally destroyed. These pollutants include:
Mould
Virus
Pollen
Dust mite skeletons and faeces
Organic odours
Ozone
Pet Dander
This makes the Airfree much more effective than conventional air purifier methods such as HEPA filters and electronic or plasma type air cleaners. The heat used in Airfree has no noticeable effect on the ambient heat of the room and the unit itself is warm to touch.
The unit is totally silent, making it ideal for use in bedrooms, requires no replaceable filters, so is maintenance-free and consumes less than 46 watts – cheaper to run than a light bulb. One unit is powerful enough to purify the air in rooms up to 550Sq Ft or 50m².
