The Nexus weather station is a fantastic home or office weather station for weather enthusiasts or for those who depend on the weather forecast. It has an attractive black design with a digital display and blue backlight.
This weather station is totally wireless and comprises of an outdoor thermohygrometer, a rain gauge and a combined anemometer and wind vane, all 3 sensors have a transmission range of 100m. The Nexus also comes with computer software so that you are able to download the data from the Nexus onto your computer for record keeping and analysis.
As well as the outside transmitter included with this weather station, you can have up to 4 additional outside transmitters connected to the Nexus weather station. This will allow you to monitor the environment in different areas and scroll through the readings for the greenhouse, garden and cellar or wherever you have the transmitter positioned. The rain gauge will measure the amount of rainfall in either mm or inch. The display can be changed to show the amount in rainfall in the last hour, the last 24 hours, the last day, the last week or the last month.
The anemometer and wind vane will measure the wind temperature adjusted to wind chill factor in °C or °F. The Nexus will also display the wind direction in either compass points or by bearings, also displayed will be the average wind speed.
Also displayed on the Nexus is the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, the weather forecast with current pressure and moon phases. There is a radio controlled clock that receives the time signal from Frankfurt and the Nexus can be set to compensate for the time difference between Europe and the UK. If the signal can not be received the time can be set manually.
The Nexus has a built in data logger which can store up 3000 weather records (without a computer connection) with memory saving intervals.
Batteries are included for the Nexus weather station, outdoor thermohygrometer, rain gauge and wind sensor.
