Works well at humidifying the room. You may need to protect the radiator where the wet pad touches it as it can cause surface rust.

Have not needed to use them yet. It's a good job they appear simple to fit, as the instructions are not in English! I assume it does not tell you how often to replace them! If it does, I cannot understand! Speedy delivery.

The pads are what makes the humidifiers so efficient, giving a greater surface area for water evaporation. Of course it means they need replacing but with such an efficient sales and delivery service, that doesn't present a problem.

These evaporator pads are very good but they do get attacked by mould even after a very short time- like a few weeks. The blurb that comes with them does say that they have been treated with Microban to prevent bacteria and fungi. Julia Calder

Pads are easy to change, absorbed water well and releases back to humidify the house generally and so the general atmosphere is less dry particularly with central heating on.

I bought these refils to go with my new Casana Steel Radiator. Because I have sensitivities to chemicals I was at first concerned that the anti-bacterial pads might give off an offensive odour or irritate my sinuses - but no worries there at all. I've been using these now for the last weeks without any irritation.... and in fact the air quality in my home is now healthier with the extra added humidity.
