The Air and Water Centre recommends the use of this air purifier in bedrooms and living rooms.
The particle pre-filter will remove large airborne particles such as dust and pet dander. The ultra violet lamp is used sterilisation against micro organisms and also acts as a supplement to the Titanium Oxide filter.
The Titanium Oxide filter is active under U.V light and will deodorise and kill any airborne bacteria. The active carbon filter will remove odours and harmful gases through its absorption process.
A plasma generator will generate negatively charged oxygen which will remove contaminates such as fungi, viruses, microbes, bacteria, mold spores and dust mites. The built-in ioniser will replace negative ions which have been destroyed by pollution and electronic equipment making the air fresh and clean.
Regular filter replacement is a prerequisite for hygienic, trouble-free operation. The filter should be changed every 6 months, depending on use and the U.V. lamp will typically give 6,000 hours of continuous operation. Replacement filters can be purchased from the Multi-Buy section below.
