This multipurpose evaporative cooler is 3 units in 1 allowing it to be used all year round; it is a cooler, heater and humidifier.

To cool the air the evaporative cooler draws air into the unit through a moistened filter. This cools the air, which is then blown into the room through direction louvres.

Unlike portable air conditioners, this type of technology does not use refrigerant gases or compressors so is much more environmentally friendly, uses less energy and is cheaper to run.

There are 4 fan speeds including a rhythm mode which will randomly change between low, medium and high to simulate a natural breeze.

For maximum cooling ice can be added to the water tank that will further chill the air as it passes through the moistened filter.

A large removable 12 litre water tank makes for easy filling or alternatively water can be added by opening the top cover of the unit. A transparent water level indicator on the front of the unit makes it easy to see when it needs refilling.

This evaporative cooler has a built-in shut-down timer which can be set to turn the unit off after a set period of time. This is ideal if the unit is being used before sleeping as it means it won't be left running all night if it's accidentally left on.

As well as providing cooling, this evaporative cooler incorporates a 2kW fan heater which has 2 heat settings. This means that it isn't redundant in the winter unlike most other types of coolers.

All functions can be controlled by either the soft touch controls on evaporative cooler or by the remote control.

Hints for better cooling - For best performance position the cooler in a location that will create a "flow-through" air effect. The greatest cooling effect will be felt if the unit is operated in a partly opened doorway or window with the "cool" conditioned air directed into the room. It is also important to have a door or window partly opened away from the air cooler, in order to create a "flow through" effect.
