The Delonghi AriaDry Light Desicant dehumidifier is an ideal dehumidifier for use in the home.

It uses desiccant technology to dry the air so does not contain a compressor. This make it very light and easy to move around.

The AriaDry Light has a laundry mode that boosts the output of the unit for rapid drying of clothes inside the house. Adjustable outlet louvres also allow the air to be directed, further improving the clothes drying capability of the unit.

A shut-off timer allows you to program the unit to turn off in either two, four or eight hours. This is handy as you don't leave the unit on longer than necessary, thus saving energy.

An ioniser function further improves the air and leaves it feeling fresh and clean. Negative ions change the polarity of airborne particles, causing them to magnetically attract together. As a result they become too large to remain airborne and fall out of the air.

The AriaDry Light dehumidifier has other modes of operation too for quiet, economy or turbo operation.

As well as directly dehumidifying the air, this unit will slightly warm an atmosphere. An increase in temperature will further dry the air, aiding dehumidification.

Ensuring adequate air movement improves effectiveness of the dehumidifier, for this we recommend the use of portable fans particularly for confined spaces e.g. cellars and small rooms.
