This large capacity mobile evaporative humidifier is ideal for museums, galleries, offices or rooms up to 1,000m³.
Evaporative humidifiers add moisture to the air by drawing dry air through a saturated evaporative cassette. As air moves through it, the water evaporates into the atmosphere leaving behind dust or suspended solids.
This unit has a removable 9.5 litre water tank making it easy to fill up with the hose and tap attachment supplied. With the integral reservoir, the total water capacity is 19 litres.
When both the water tank and reservoir have emptied, the humidifier fan will automatically shut off, but it starts again automatically when the water tank and reservoir are refilled. The tank empty indicator will prompt you to refill.
A humidistat allows the user to set the desired humidity.
The control panel provides three levels of fan operation for maximum output or quiet running. On full fan speed, the unit has a maximum humidifying output of up to 1.75 litres of water per hour.
This Century 4 humidifier is designed for easy maintainence. The tanks, fan/motor unit and the evaporative filter can all be easily removed in seconds.
There's also an optional high-efficiency electrostatically charged filter which traps dust, pollen and airborne pollutants. The second stage of the filter is an activated carbon media which absorbs odours.
