The Air and Water Centre recommends the use of the Capri evaporative humidifier in bedrooms, living rooms, study’s, dining rooms or any room where you are feeling the effects of low humidity.
This neat little plastic humidifier will hang on your radiator and maintain a healthy atmosphere in a room. Water is poured into the base of the humidifier, which then evaporates raising the humidity. It is recommended that the water should be topped up every day to ensure maximum effectiveness.
The humidifier contains an evaporator pad that soaks up the water from the base of the unit and helps the evaporation take place. This makes this type of radiator humidifier a lot more effective than the ceramic type units as the water is evaporated more rapidly.
These pads are impregnated with DILURIT 876 that will prevent the formation of fungi and bacteria. To remain totally hygienic they should be replaced every 6 weeks. Replacement pads can be bought from the Multi-Buy section below.

I have a lung conidition so as soon as the winter months and the colder temperatures hit, I am on the defensive. A troublesome cough appears to kick off as soon as the heating is turned on - so I was anxious to find a product that would help . I was aware of the effect of "dry" air and hoped that a humidifier would have a positive outcome; it was just a matter of finding one that actually did what it said on the box. The Capri Humidifier does! The plastic unit although not the most beautiful design I have ever seen, is functional. It easily hangs onto the radiators and allows easy access for re-filling. The pads prevent nasty things from growing inside the unit and soak up the water which I top up each morning - simples! Another positive side-effect is that the dust is considerably reduced. The cough has all but disappeared so I am quite happy to endorse this product. PS: Ordering was straightforward and delivery was made within 2 days!

The product should be ok, but delivery took 2 weeks instead of 2-3 days, and they'd put it on the weather, but I ordered other products one week later, from different places, and I got them all before this product. I don't recommend this company to anyone. If is possible, buy it from somewhere else.

Good value for money and works really well. Very simple to use. Its also quite discreet and unnoticeable in the room. Has made a difference to the general humidity of the room and the dust levels which caused a problem previously.
