The Air and Water Centre recommends the use of this ultrasonic humidifier in bedrooms, living rooms or in any room up to 60m².
The major drawback of using ultrasonic humidifiers is that the minerals in the water fall out into an atmosphere when the water evaporates. This causes large amounts of dust to build-up in the room being humidified. Unlike other ultrasonic units this humidifier uses an anti-dust demineralisation cartridge which will treat the water prior to release which reduces the likeliness of this happening.
A simple rotary switch humidistat allows you to set your desired humidity level. This will then turn the unit on and off as and when it is needed.
To keep the humidifier operating at its peak efficiency the demineralisation cartridge will need to be replaced every 2-3 months (this may vary depending on the hardness of the water). Replacement granules or cartridge can be purchased from the Multi-Buy section below.

I am very impressed with the humidifier. It was easy to set up and I am already feeling the benefits. I recently had an operation on my nose and I also suffer from allergies. It was my manager who suggested a humidifier for our small office which can get very warm and dry. I was also impressed with the speed of delivery - I received the humidifier within a couple of days of ordering Absolutely fab!!
