The Air and Water Centre recommends the use of this evaporative humidifier in the bedroom, living rooms or any room up to 50m².
The Boneco Air Washer is a filterless humidifier and uses special humidifier discs which spin through the water, washing the air. This method removes many impurities such as dust, pollen and particle-bound odours from the air - as in nature, where the air is washed clean by the rain.
Using the self-regulating evaporation principle (air only evaporates as much water as it requires) this humidifier requires no additional control systems to ensure optimal air humidity. Also by producing a healthy level of humidity static electricity in the atmosphere is reduced and dust is suppressed. This is something that simple air filters cannot do.

Bought this mainly because it does not need replacement evaporator pads and am pleased with the general high quality construction. It is much quieter than other humidifiers I have tried. Perhaps the only missing facility is a humidity display and means to set a required value with auto switch off when that is reached. Recommended.
