The Air and Water Centre recommends the use of this combination humidifier and air purifier in living rooms, bedrooms or any room up to 50m².

This combined air purifier and humidifier is ideal for allergy sufferers as it not only reduces pollutants in the air with two HEPA filters, which removes the smallest particles (100,000 times finer than a human hair), it also ensures optimal air humidity.

The humidification facility of this unit is self-regulating, providing an optimal, hygienically humidified atmosphere. The Air-O-Swiss combi also has a fragrance capsule, by placing essential oils in the capsule aromas will be released into the room.

To ensure the unit operates at its peak efficiency the filters will need regular replacement, the HEPA filters will need to be replaced annually, the active carbon filter will need to be replaced every 6 months and the evaporator cartridges will need to be replaced every 2-3 months.

In order to reduce the frequency with which you have to replace the filter cartridges in this humidifier we recommend the use of an Ionic Silver Stick (not included). By placing one of these in the water reservoir it will help control the development of bacteria and fungi, reducing unpleasant odours and the frequency of cleaning.

A high quality fan sucks in the polluted air and circulates it through two HEPA particle filters, which protect against harmful particles such as pollen, dust and spores that are up to 100,000 times finer than a human hair.

The unit then draws the air through a wet mat and returns it to the room, optimally humidified. During the humidification process, the air is also washed, in other words, even more particles and odours are removed. Depending on its temperature, air can only absorb a certain amount of water. The process of evaporation thus provides self-regulating humidification, and as a result, additional control systems are not necessary.

If desired the unit can also inject essential oils into the room making you feel relaxed or invigorated depending on the type of oil selected.
