The Air and Water Centre recommends the use of this evaporative humidifier in living rooms, study’s or any room up to 85m². It is also ideal for protecting musical instruments.

This humidifier works on the self-regulating evaporation principle; this means it needs no additional control systems or humidistats. It is also very economical to run as unlike steam humidifiers, the water doesn't need to be boiled - it simply evaporates.

The humidifier uses an evaporative filter which soaks up the water and through which the dry air is drawn through. The evaporative filter will need to be replaced every 2-3 months to keep the humidifier operating efficiently.

The unit has two output levels and comes with an antibacterial ionic silver stick. This device sits inside the water reservoir and helps control the development of bacteria and fungi, reducing unpleasant odours and the frequency of cleaning.

For larger areas we would recommend you use the Home Humidifier as it has a larger water capacity and output.

The anti-bacterially treated evaporator mat soaks up water until it is full. A fan draws the dry room air through the wet mat and releases it to the room again with an optimum level of humidity.
