This humidistat will give an on/off signal to a humidifier or dehumidifier allowing you to set the humidity level you desire.
It makes running a humidity control system much more efficient as your humidifier or dehumidifier will not operate when it isn't required - saving you money. You can also rest assured that you will be achieving the humidity level you need.
It's suited to use in domestic, commercial and industrial areas - office and computer rooms, storage of foodstuffs, greenhouses, textile, paper and printing industries and swimming pools.
The unit can be wall-mounted and is then wired to the humidifier. No power source is required.
For the best indoor air quality in the home set your humidistat to between 40-60%rH. The humidistat will allow you to control your humidifier as you would control your central heating system via its thermostat.
Once the humidity level reaches the set point the humidistat will turn off the humidifier or dehumidifier. Then once humidity falls below the set point the unit will turn back on again to adjust the atmosphere accordingly.
Please note this unit is not supplied with connecting wiring.
