The Airmaster OMX500 is one of the most advanced ozone generators available today, designed to remove organic odours such as tobacco smoke, pet and other smells in places like hotel rooms, vehicles, kitchens, waste storage areas and musty basements.
Airmaster units remove odours by producing ozone, O3 - also called activated oxygen, which is a powerful oxidizing agent. It neutralises smells and also helps reduce airborne microbes such as bacteria, moulds and spores. Typical uses include rapid room refreshment after occupation by a smoker, removal of tobacco and pet smells by car valeting companies and deodorisation of flats and houses by property maintenance companies, between lets.
Ozone exists in nature in low levels and especially after lightning. In the OMX500, it’s produced by circulating room air through an electrically charged glass and stainless steel tube called a dielectric cell, which breaks down some of the oxygen to make ozone. Any ozone remaining in the air after use naturally breaks down into to oxygen after 20 minutes or so, leaving the room smelling fresh and clean.
The Airmaster OMX500 is suitable for room sizes between 20 to 50m², according to the degree of contamination in the room. This unit benefits from adjustable ozone output to suit different uses.
This deodoriser is very simple to use. Just plug in, turn on, set the output level and leave it to deodorise. The OMX500 is typically used commercially, in unoccupied areas. It should not be used for extended periods in rooms where people are present.
