This unit fits on to the water main where it enters the house and protects every appliance on the water system from limescale build-up. Say goodbye to scaled elements on kettles, blocked shower heads, ruined washing machines and dishwashers, or having to constantly buy and use water softeners.
It works by passing the water firstly through a sediment filter to remove suspended matter like mud, sand and metallic oxides over 20microns in size. Then the water goes through the Siliphos cartridge which treats the water to prevent the limescale being able to build-up on surfaces.
The Aquaphos Whole House Scale Inhibitor connects to any standard ¾” bsp pipe thread and is effective with pressures up to 8bar.
The sediment cartridge will last for around one year and the Siliphos cartridge for around two years in an average house. Both are easy to replace.
By reducing the amount of limescale that builds up on heating elements and the internal parts of appliances, their life is extended, energy costs are reduced as they are more efficient and maintenance is kept to a minimum.
Please note: pipework is not supplied with this unit for connection to your water supply. You will need to purchase the appropriate pipework with a 3/4" connection to install this product.
