This storage heater includes many features including robust stable feet, side mounted controls for easy operation and an attractive rounded design.
This 1.7kW storage heater has an input control that varies the amount of charge it receives during the night. It has four settings; off, minimum charge, 50% charge and full charge. This allows it to be easily set to the appropriate capacity depending on the weather.
It also has an ouptut control that allows more heat to be released if required. This allows the heater to act like a convector heater filling the room with its warm air flow via its grille.
The third control feature of the HeatZone is an automatic temperature monitor. It can be set to Manual, Automatic or Frost Protection. On Manual the heater charges as normal. On Automatic an internal thermostat monitors the room temperature and only charges when the air is below 20°C, thus saving energy. On Frost Protect, the unit switches itself on only when the temperature drops below 6°C. This is ideal if a property is left unattended.
The HeatZone storage heater has an excellent build quality. The interior insulation balances Microtherm, Rockwool and Vermiculite insulation to prevent uneconomical thermal leakage.
All storage heaters must be installed by a qualified electrician.
