The HumiPac ceiling mounted humidifier provides a local supply of humidification without the use of AH's or unsightly wall-mounted units.
It is a completely original, patented design which discretely maintains the relative humidity you need to create a refreshing and safe working environment.
The HumiPac can be hidden above a suspended ceiling, or mounted directly from the ceiling soffit and exposed. As the unit is an evaporative humidifier it is quiet, energy efficient (only 300 watts) and very effective.
It draws air into the unit through flexible ducting and passes it through a wetted matrix, where the air picks up moisture. The air is then re-circulated back into the room optimally humidified and having been filtered and purified by the process.
This system is ideal for rooms that are cooled with wall-mounted DX type air conditioners, as they often cool the air without providing and humidity control.
Small or large areas can be accommodated with the HumiPac as twin outlets ensure good distribution of air and multiple units effectively maintain desired conditions in larger situations. One unit will provide humidification for approximately 400 sq metres depending on outside conditions.
The controls are situated on the unit and allow selection of humidity set-point, fully automatic operation or manual override to fan speeds 1, 2 or 3 and remote on/off. Automatic control will optimise the use of energy and water.
Interface with BMS is possible, allowing real time control, and there are volt-free contacts for remote fault monitoring. Integral common alarm and fail-safe mechanisms are standard.
The HumiPac uses polished BS316 stainless steel, silver water sterilisation and flush/drain cycles to maintain absolute hygiene.

How does this work?
Inlet air can be ducted into the unit from vents in the room or taken from the ceiling void. The air is filtered and 98% of airborne contaminants are removed. The purified air then goes through a wetted matrix where it picks up moisture before being blown back into the room via an outlet duct.
