This humidifier maintains comfortable air humidity in areas up to 25m2, ensuring a healthy atmosphere in a single room or office.
The appliance works on the self-regulating evaporation principle. This means it needs no additional control systems or humidistats. It is also very econimical to run as unlike steam humidifiers, the water doesn't need to be boiled - it simply evaporates.
This type of unit is ideal for protecting your musical instruments from becoming out of tune as it maintains a constant atmospheric humidity level without rapid fluctuations.
Its water tank on the side of the unit is detachable and can be easily filled up directly from the tap in even the smallest sinks due to its clever design.
If desired the fragrance capsule mounted on the top of the unit can be filled with essential oils and used to add a pleasant fragrance to the air.
For large rooms or if you would like to humidify a whole house we would recommend you use the 2051 Humidifier as it has twice the water capacity and output.
In order to reduce the frequency with which you have to replace the filter cartridges in this humidifier we recommend the use of an Ionic Silver Stick (not included). By placing one of these in the water reservoir it will help control the development of bacteria and fungi, reducing unpleasant odours and the frequency of cleaning.
A special evaporator pad soaks up water. A fan sucks the dry room air through the wet mat and returns it to the room, optimally humidified. 
How does this work?
During the humidification process, the air is also washed, in other words, some dust and dirt particles are removed.
Depending on its temperature, air can only absorb a certain amount of water. The process of evaporation thus provides self-regulating humidification, and as a result, additional control systems are not necessary.
Evaporators require very little power. The energy used during evaporation comes from the air itself. To ensure optimal performance from the appliance, the evaporator pad should be replaced once or twice per season.
