Damp, condensation or corrosion? This powerful little dehumidifier is twice as powerful as the average dehumidifier. It removes up to 20 litres of moisture every 24 hours.
Sized for a 3-4 bedroom house or a humid cellar or garage, it can be set to achieve the low humidity level you want.
The unit incorporates an integral water container (use the distilled water for your steam iron) or can be connected to a drain.
This mobile dehumidifier is ideal for homes and small industrial areas. It can be used to dry out newly constructed buildings, boats, caravans, etc.
The unit has an automatic shut off feature that will stop operation when the water reservoir is full. The warning light will turn on to indicate the bucket needs to be emptied.
When operating in cool conditions (<18°C), humidity which condensates on the refrigerated coils of dehumidifiers turns to ice. The coils on normal dehumidifiers, when left running, will be completely covered in ice and their effectiveness will decrease. However on this unit a special defrost timer enables the coils to be defrosted once per hour.
The compressor turns off the fan but continues to draw air over the coils, melting any ice that's built up and allowing the dehumidifier to operate at temperatures as low as 5°C.
Lastly, a rear panel with foam filter prevents dust from clogging the refrigeration coils keeping the unit operating in optimum condition.
Ensuring adequate air movement improves effectiveness of the dehumidifier, for this we recommend the use of portable fans particularly for confined spaces e.g. cellars and small rooms.
